We met one day at our local gym, and bonded over our mutual worrying about our cats at home. Were they lonely? Were they bored? We couldn't stay for a coffee as we had to rush back to our babies! As our friendship continued we dreamt of going away together, but were faced with the ever present worry, of who would look after our cats? Epecially at the same time? We then realised this was a problem for many cat owners. We scoured the internet for independent sitters, but who could we trust? These people would be coming into our homes and we would be leaving our most beloved pets with them. And we wanted more than just a feeding service. We know our cats need company and care, and we need peace of mind when we are away from home. Our cats are part of our family, as we are sure yours are. That's how we came up with the idea of FurEver Friends. We vet (uh oh, say that quieter) all our sitters. They all have a love of cats, and will cuddle, play, feed, groom, and nuture your cat/s. From a long day at the office, to longer periods of time away from home, we will meet your needs, and those of your cats!

Terms and conditions
By booking with FurEver Friends Cat Care, you agree to the terms below. There's nothing to sign.
Booking and deposit
To book, email us at info@fureverfriendscatcare.com with your dates, how many visits a day you need (1, 2 or overnight), and your cats' names, ages and any medical needs. If we can accommodate you, we'll send you an invoice for the booking. A 25% deposit secures your dates, and your booking is confirmed once we've received it.
Paying the balance
The rest of the payment is due before your booking starts. Payment is by bank transfer, and the invoice has the details.
Our prices
1 visit a day: £22. 2 visits a day: £30. Overnight stay: £55.
Christmas, New Year and bank holidays: £33 for 1 visit, £45 for 2 visits, £82 overnight.
Your invoice will show the full total before you pay anything.
Meeting your sitter and keys
Your sitter will arrange a free consultation with you before the booking starts. You can introduce your cats, show them where everything is, and hand over a key. We'll arrange how the key comes back to you when we collect it. Please also give us the details of someone who holds a spare key, in case of emergency.
Cancellations
Please cancel by email so we have a record.
- 2 weeks' notice or more: 25% of the booking is kept (this is your deposit).
- Less than 2 weeks' notice: 50% of the booking is kept.
Vet emergencies
If your cat needs urgent medical care, we'll try to reach you first. If we can't and your cat is getting worse, we'll take them to your vet. Please give us your vet's details and an emergency contact number. You pay the vet's costs. We don't add any charge for our sitter's time or travel.
Parking and travel
We can't cover sitters' travel costs. If parking permits are needed, please arrange one for the length of the booking.
